Περιγραφή
Ο τύπος οικοτόπου 2230 περιλαμβάνει τις κοινωνίες με πολλά μικρά ετήσια φυτά και συχνά άφθονα εφήμερα φυτά που ανθίζουν την άνοιξη, σε βαθιά αμμώδη εδάφη, σε ξηρά ενδοθινικά βυθίσματα των ακτών.
Οικολογικές συνθήκες
Ο τύπος οικοτόπου 2230 αποτελεί μορφή θεροφυτικής αμμοθινικής βλάστησης που αναπτύσσεται ανάμεσα σε άλλες κοινότητες των αμμοθινικών συστημάτων.

Χλωριδική σύνθεση
Τα πιο σημαντικά και χαρακτηριστικά είδη του τύπου οικοτόπου είναι τα: Anthemis tomentosa, Catapodium marinum, Centaurea aegialophila, Crepis vesicaria, Cutandia maritima, Echium angustifolium, Elytrigia juncea, Hedypnois rhagadioloides subsp. rhagadioloides, Heliotropium dolosum, Hypecoum procumbens, Lagurus ovatus, Malcolmia nana, Matthiola tricuspidata, Medicago litoralis, Medicago marina, Pancratium maritimum, Parapholis incurva, Plantago lagopus, Polycarpon tetraphyllum, Polygonum maritimum, Rumex bucephalophorus, Silene colorata, Silene gallica, Silene pinetorum, Triplachne nitens, Vulpia fasciculata.

Πρόκειται για σπάνιο (που γίνεται ολοένα και περισσότερο σπάνιος) και λίγο γνωστό από επιστημονική σκοπιά τύπο βλάστησης. Οι κοινότητες των αμμοθινικών συστημάτων είναι εκ φύσεως ευμετάβλητες καθώς βρίσκονται διαρκώς σε δυναμική εξέλιξη. Οι κοινότητες αυτού του τύπου οικοτόπου είναι ευπαθείς λόγω της μικρής τους έκτασης και της διεσπαρμένης τους εξάπλωσης.
